Have you been wishing for some great German food and rousing music? Well, now is the time to remedy that situation at the Holliston Historical Society’s Oktoberfest.  Our annual Oktoberfest celebration takes place on October 18th at 7pm.  Held in our 1815 barn, conveniently located at 547 Washington Street in Holliston, MA , Oktoberfest features great food, a lively band, and friendly service by Society volunteers. Come meet them as well as your neighbors and friends.

As is the tradition for this event, the featured entertainment is the Double Eagle Oktoberfest Band. Performing all over the East Coast and Canada, this lively band will get you laughing, singing, and dancing before the evening is done.

Ken Onofrey, of Crafted, will be supplying the beer for this event and will speak briefly about the craft beers available at this event. In addition to the beer, wine, soda, and water will also be available. The dinner menu includes large soft pretzels, knockwurst, rye bread, German potato salad, and red cabbage. After the dinner enjoy coffee, tea, and homemade apple crisp with whipped cream for dessert. Tickets are available at Fiske’s, Holliston Superette, and Crafted. Make checks payable to Holliston Historical Society. Tickets are also available through October 17th on PayPal at hollistonhistoricalsociety.org. Tickets are $25 each, with a small handling fee if purchased through PayPal.
