Holliston Honors Its Veterans

Steve Bradford and Ralph Stover lead the parade as it steps off from Blair Square on its way to the Town Hall.
These proud veterans can still march.
The Select Board marched in support of our vets.
Three rifle volleys were fired after each of the three wreathes were layed along the parade route. Taps was sounded following the rifle volleys.
Legion Chaplin, Ron Turcotte, delivered a very moving prayer honoring all who served and those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
World War 2 Veterans Al Holmes and Vasco Brovelli render honors after placing a wreath at the Town Hall Veterans’ Monument. Vasco, at 94, is Holliston’s oldest living veteran.

Hollistonians who have served our nation.
After the ceremony everyone moved inside to enjoy a fine luncheon co-sponsored by the American Legion, VFW, and the Lions Club. The first course was shrimp cocktail.
