Environmental Help Desk Tip for Week of December 16, 2019

It’s the Month for Maintenance

Home owners should clean or change heating system filters regularly, especially at the beginning of the season to ensure an efficient start. It is simple to do and has a great payback.

A dirty furnace filter will slow down air flow and make the system work harder to keep you warm.  Yearly maintenance by a professional can also make a big difference in the efficiency of your heating system.

Spring is a great time to maintain both your heating and cooling systems, but if you did not change the filter at the end of last heating system, it is time to do it before this heating season gets into full swing.
