It Was A SOUPer Night!

Dave O’Neil, Pantry Shelf Treasurer, and Debbie Kerrigan used these big smiles to welcome guests – and take their donations.
This crew scurried around all night helping folks get soup and dessert, and then cleaning up. Right here their enjoying the calm before the storm.
The first shift of celebrity servers were inundated with photographers such that everyone was posing for a different shot. Many familiar faces in this shot. One you may not recognize is the Naval Officer at the far right. Commander John Benda, a Mudvillian, will assume Command of Old Ironsides at the end of February – congratulations!

Seven soups: Clam Chowder, Sausage, Butternut Squash, Chicken Rice, Chicken Noodle, Broccoli and Cheese, and Tortilla were provided by: Outpost Farm, Holliston Superette, Bazel’s, Bertucci’s the Corner Market, and Nestle Corporation. Thank you for the delicious soups.

State Senate President – and OUR State Senator – was serving the very popular Butternut Squash soup.
Select Board member Tina Hein serves up the Chowda while American Legion Post 47 Adjutant Walter McGrath looks on.
Pantry Shelf volunteer Linda Caron was all smiles as she helped lucky folks buy raffle tickets. There were nineteen prizes donated by local businesses and families.
Pantry Shelf Past-president Steve Bradford and current President Keely Krantz presented the Guest of Honor Sylvia Stickney to the audience. They thanked her for helping to found the Pantry Shelf and for 28 years of service to the Pantry and Holliston. Thank you, Sylvia

Along with good food, friends, and a good time, most importantly the Pantry Shelf held a very successful fund raiser. Thanks to all who made it happen for such a worthy cause!
