William Thomas Colwell at 88
William Thomas Colwell, 88, of Uxbridge and formerly of Holliston, passed away at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester on Monday, December 28, 2020.
A graveside inurnment service will be held on Wednesday, January 6th at 11:00 a.m. at Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland.

This week’s HFD emergency calls included a major head-on motor vehicle accident that sent three victims to three different hospitals. Included this week is a brief video clip of Chief Cassidy wearing a different hat – storybook reader – enjoy.
COVID Tops the Select Board Agenda
Holliston Select Board Chair John Cronin called the December 28, 2020 meeting to order at 6:30 pm. Following the practice of the past several months, Mr. Cronin called on Fire Chief Michael Cassidy to update the Board on the state of coronavirus infection in our Town.

Pole to Pole – At Least In My Mind

Eagle Scout Candidate Builds a Bridge
Chris MacLean, Holliston High senior, chose as his Eagle Scout project the construction of a boardwalk over a section of trail in Wenakeening Woods frequently flooded and impassible. Upper Charles Conservation Land Trust (UCCLT), owner of Wenakeening Woods, was only too happy to accept Chris’s offer.
