The Library Trustees met with Library Director Leslie McDonnell during a brief special meeting on Monday evening at 7 PM to vote on a possible pause of in-person visits to the building.

The Trustees voted unanimously ‌to‌ ‌suspend‌ ‌in-person‌ ‌library‌ ‌use‌ ‌at‌ ‌the‌ ‌discretion‌ ‌of‌ ‌Leslie‌ ‌McDonnell‌ ‌starting‌ ‌December‌ ‌14,‌ ‌2020‌ ‌OR‌ ‌if‌ ‌the‌ ‌town‌ ‌positivity‌ ‌rate‌ ‌reaches‌ ‌5%,‌ ‌whichever‌ ‌occurs‌ ‌first,‌ ‌for‌ ‌ an‌ ‌indeterminate‌ ‌amount‌ ‌of‌ ‌time.

In other business, the Trustees voted to approve the purchase of 2 room dividers to be used in the area of curbside pickup.  The cost of $695.89 will be submitted for funding from the CARES Act.

Chair Nancy Baron adjourned the meeting at 7:13PM, followed by the Trustees’ sharing of holiday wishes.
