Thomas Hinckley Wilde at 86

Thomas Hinckley Wilde, 86, of Westport passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side, on Friday, February 5, 2021. He was the loving companion of Doreen Sorel. Born in Georgetown, son of the late Alfred A. and Marjorie (Hinckley) Wilde, he had lived in Westport for 30 years.

He was the chairman of W.A. Wilde Company in Holliston, a 5th generation direct marketing business. Mr. Wilde was a longtime supporter of the Natick Little League and was a member of the Ducks Unlimited and the Masonic Lodge in Wellesley. He loved his trips to the Florida Keys in his Fleming boat. Later in life he became a gentleman farmer, establishing his greatest love, Wilde Acres.

He enjoyed his daily breakfast gathering with his friends where they shared coffee and conversation. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Including his companion, he is survived by a son, Thomas A. Wilde and his wife Loralee of Franklin; 2 daughters, Cynthia W. Pfeifer and her husband Ronald of Natick and Barbara W. Lodi and her husband Carl of Natick; 2 sisters, Carolyn Marsh of Medway and Susan Lindsay of Natick; 7 grandchildren, Keith, Christopher and Katelyn Pfeifer, Matthew and Michael Lodi and Daniel and Alicia Wilde; 8 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation to which relatives and friends are invited will be Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Rd., Westport from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Funeral services will be private.
