The 2021 Town Election is on May 25. Running for an office may not be in your comfort zone. Not everyone feels ready for all that running for an elected position entails.

There are other ways to serve the community of Holliston.  Several volunteer opportunities don’t require putting your name on the ballot.  Why not consider one of these?

• Community Preservation Committee (1)
• Cultural Council (3) – has a quorum currently
• Economic Development Committee (2)
• Historical Committee (4) – lacks quorum
• Open Space Committee (1)
• Sustainable Waste & Recycling (3) – lacks quorum

Holliston’s Town Administrator, Travis Ahern, seeks candidates to bring to the Select Board for each of the above appointments. If interested, a statement of interest and description of your qualifications can be sent to Ahern for any of these roles.
