Business anniversaries are a wonderful way to measure success over time. Ahronian Landscaping and Design has been a part of Holliston for 35 years! That’s a lot of success.

Owners Mark and Linda Ahronian began their business as a small, part-time, basic landscape service in 1986, with an eye to the future. Mark was working with Baker Landscaping, applying the knowledge he learned at The Stockbridge School of Agriculture, UMass Amherst.  Meanwhile, Linda was earning her business degree, creating a balance of diverse talents between them.

Small successes brought bigger jobs. In 1990, the business took off full blast. Buying that first red truck with their own logo on the door was an early mini-milestone.  As business grew, the company grew to its present 30 staff and 17 vehicles and machines. 

The business is family-based. Mark oversees the company. Linda manages payroll and finance. Son David is VP of Operations and a Landscape Designer.  Daughter Gina is Office Manager—the voice you hear when inquiring about their quality services.  Christopher Johnston is Director of Marketing and a Landscape Designer.  Both David and Chris graduated from The Stockbridge School of Agriculture.

Mark and his team apply their extensive horticultural experience as well as their passion and enthusiasm to meet each project’s unique design challenges. This practice is the underpinning of the company’s longevity. Expertise and determination of the team are recognized regionally and nationally. form The knowledge and talent foundation of Ahronian’s staff is based upon that of Massachusetts Certified Horticulturalists.
