Fire / EMS Log for Week of June 4 – 10, 2021

This was about the only piece of apparatus that HFD didn’t use during this reporting period.

Friday, June 4

  • 7:45 am: Medical – The ambulance and paramedics from Medway Fire responded to a medical emergency on Avon Street. A resident was transported to Boston Children’s Hospital.
  • 1:56 pm: Investigation – The fire department responded to a direct alarm on Elm Street.
  • 7:04 pm: Medical – The ambulance and paramedics from Brewster EMS responded to a medical emergency on High Rock Road. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center.

Saturday, June 5

  • 12:15 am: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Summer Street. The individual refused transport; a signed waiver was obtained.
  • 1:19 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Cedar Street. The individual refused transport; a signed waiver was obtained.
  •  5:58 pm: Medical – The ambulance and paramedics from Ashland Fire responded to a medical emergency on Fiske Street. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center.
  • 6:13 pm: Medical – An ambulance with paramedics from Hopkinton Fire responded to a medical emergency on Marshall Street. An individual was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.
  • 7:44 pm: Investigation – Weekend Duty Officer Captain Alan Greendale, and Engines 1 and 4 responded to a propane tank fire on Christopher Road. The ambulance also responded to the scene; a resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.
  • 10:26 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Goulding Street. A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.

Sunday, June 6

  • 11:08 pm: Investigation – The fire department responded to a direct alarm on Hopping Brook Road.

Monday, June 7

  • 1:00 am: Investigation – Weekend Duty Officer Captain Alan Greendale investigated an alarm activation on Hopping Brook Road.
  • 2:18 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Maple Dell Lane. A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.
  • 2:57 pm: Medical – An ambulance with paramedics from Brewster EMS responded to a medical emergency on Richard Road. The individual refused transport; a signed waiver was obtained.
  • 3:50 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Cedar Street. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center.
  • 4:22 pm: Medical – An ambulance with paramedics from Medway Fire responded to a medical emergency on Underwood Street. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center.

Tuesday, June 8

  • 12:07 am: Investigation – Chief Michael Cassidy investigated an alarm activation on Prospect Street.
  • 2:55 am: Investigation – The fire department responded to a direct alarm on Elm Street.
  • 2:56 am: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Curve Street. The individual refused transport; a signed waiver was obtained.
  • 4:04 am: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Central Street. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center.
  • 11:15 am: Motor Vehicle Crash – Chief Michael Cassidy, Deputy Mark Dellicker, Rescue 1, Engine 4 and the ambulance responded to a motor vehicle rollover on Marshall Street. The Jaws of Life extrication equipment was used to access the patient, who was subsequently transported to Milford Regional Hospital.
  • 12:15 pm: Medical – The ambulance and paramedics from Medway Fire responded to a medical emergency on Marshall Street. A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.
  • 1:44 pm: Investigation – Deputy Jim Moore investigated an alarm activation on Elm Street.
  • 2:09 pm: Medical – The ambulance and paramedics from Medway Fire responded to a medical emergency on Summer Street. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.
  • 2:13 pm: Investigation – Deputy Jim Moore investigated an alarm activation on Winchester Drive.
  • 2:14 pm: Investigation – Chief Michael Cassidy investigated an alarm activation on Whispering Lane.
  • 2:20 pm: Medical – An ambulance from Sherborn Fire responded to a medical emergency on Turner Road. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center.
  • 3:30 pm: Investigation – Deputy Jim Moore investigated a hazard on Summer Street.
  • 4:25 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Francine Drive. The individual refused transport; a signed waiver was obtained.

Wednesday, June 9

  • 12:23 am: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Marilyn Street. A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center. 
  • 6:58 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency n Marked Tree Road. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center.
  • 7:32 pm: Medical – The backup ambulance and paramedics from Medway Fire responded to a medical emergency on Cabot Road. An individual was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.
  • 11:36 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Highland Street. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center.

Thursday, June 10

  • 12:39 pm: Investigation – Chief Michael Cassidy, and Engines 2 and 3 investigated an alarm activation on Elm Street.
  • 7:30 am: Medical – The ambulance and paramedics from Medway Fire responded to a medical emergency on Howard Street. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.
  • 10:30 am: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on South Street. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.
  • 4:19 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Elm Street. A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.
  • 6:16 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Elm Street. A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.
  • 6:32 pm: Medical – The backup ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Maple Dell Lane. The individual refused transport; a signed waiver was obtained.
  • 6:45 pm: Motor Vehicle Crash – The backup ambulance responded to a motor vehicle crash on Concord Street. An individual was transported to MetroWest Medical Center.
  • 7:14 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Partridge Way. A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.
  • 11:45 pm: Mutual Aid – Engine 2 responded mutual aid Medway, providing station coverage at their Milford Street fire station, while crews were at a structure fire in Franklin.
