Max McFadyen Pitches No-Hitter!

Max McFadyen (#7) pitched a no-hitter against Hopkinton in the Summer Sizzler Tournament on Saturday, July 10th.  The game was played during the Summer Sizzler Tournament—consisting of teams from the surrounding area (Holliston, Hopkinton, Medway, Southborough, Westborough) and was hosted by Hopkinton.

The final score for this game was 7 – 0. Max pitched the entire game, surrendering zero runs on zero hits over 6 innings, and striking out 14 players.

Max’s team is coached by Jamie Ross, Head Coach, and Assistant Coaches Paul Ward, Mike Jones and Max’s dad, John McFadyen. 

Max attends Adams Middle School, Holliston and is a huge sports enthusiast.  In addition to playing town baseball, he plays town soccer, basketball, flag football and golf.  This past year Max enjoyed his first year of club baseball with the Northeast Longhorns.

In his spare time, Max enjoys researching upcoming college athletes’ stats and keeping current on draft picks.
