Marigold Project Keeping It Colorful

The American Legion’s Downtown Marigold Project recently deployed 360 chrysanthemum plants around town. The aim of this fall endeavor is to maintain color along the heavily traveled routes in town.

The color begins in East Holliston.
And travels right on along Washington St.
Extending up Hollis St for a bit.

Garden beds and spots in town receiving a makeover from summer annuals to hardy mums included, the Central Burial Ground, Congregational Church, Hollis Street, Gooch’s Corner, Bertucci’s sign planter, sidewalk bed at Rossini Corner, Blair Square, Veterans Honor Roll at Town Hall, welcome to Holliston signs, Historical Society and the whiskey barrels in the town center.

Blair Square gets a Fall makeover.
Downtown, the hanging baskets have given way to whiskey barrels of mums.

One thousand red tulip bulbs will be planted come mid-October at the Congregational Church and Central Burial Ground next to town hall.

This work is made possible by donations from town residents.
