From: Leslie McDonnell, Library Director

The Mystery Book Club will read The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman on Tuesday, November 9 at 11 am. The History Book Club meets on Monday, November 22 at 10:30 am to share The Arabs by Eugene Rogan. The Morning Book Club will discuss Curtis Sittenfeld’s short story collection You Think It, I’ll Say It on Monday, December 6 at 11 am.

All three groups offer both in-person and virtual attendance simultaneously and welcome new members.  Register to receive a Zoom invitation.  Copies of books are available about one month prior to the discussions at the library.

Readers who would like to learn to use electronic books, downloadable audiobooks and digital magazines are offered training for beginners on Wednesday, November 10, 10-11:30 am, virtually (via Zoom) and in person on Thursday, November 18, 11-12 noon.   Participants should bring their device, their Amazon login and password for a Kindle and their Apple ID for iPads and iPhones if these logins are not saved on the device already.
