It’s been yet another crazy year …  full of ups and downs and stops and starts as we all try to get back to “normal.” One bright spot – this year Holiday Dreams celebrated its 15th anniversary!  Since its inception, Holiday Dreams has supported and given the joy of the holidays to nearly 15,000 children and countless families.  It’s a staggering number, and we could not have done any of this without all of you. With so much gratitude, we thank you and are humbled by everyone’s generosity during the last 15 years.  

And now it’s time to do it again!  We are more than ready to bring some normal back and spread lots of happiness. For many families in need, our Holiday Dreams program provides the only chance for a little joy during the holiday season.  As many of you know, through Holiday Dreams, our family sponsors an annual gift drive to support JFS MetroWest, multiple school districts throughout Massachusetts, DCF of Massachusetts, The Holliston Food Pantry, Project Just Because, and the Greater Hartford, Connecticut, community.  Last year our program supported 1100 children. And this year there is more need than ever before.  We’ve already been asked to help literally twice as many children as in past years. Let’s make it happen! Please be a part of Holiday Dreams once again to help kids and families forget how long and difficult this year has been. 

Getting involved is so easy: simply let us know how many children you’d like to sponsor (you can take on an entire family or individual kids).  We will then send you the children’s wish lists.  After that, you can either shop for the kids yourself or donate money, and our shoppers will do it for you.  We very much appreciate people shopping for the kids they sponsor, but we are also incredibly grateful for monetary donations to help us take care of every child. Please click holidaydreamsfoundation.com to find out more information about all of our programs and to donate or sponsor a child.  

Shopping for a child or children in need truly is one of the most rewarding experiences.  And once you’ve bought the gifts, you don’t even have to wrap them!  The parents of the kids we’re sponsoring actually wrap the presents, as this gives them a chance to see what their children are receiving. As far as timing, we need to collect everything no later than December 18th.  

But wait … there’s more!  We are officially a 501c3 charitable organization, so everything you donate is completely tax deductible!  It’s a real win/win: You get the incredible feeling of making a child’s holiday wishes come true and the benefit of a tax deduction!
