Ruric Ritchie “Susan” Robertson Jr. at 88
Ruric Ritchie “Susan” Robertson Jr., 88, of Holliston and formerly of Newton, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021 at Medway Country Manor. Born in Cambridge, the son of the late Hazel Marguerite (McCollom) and Ruric Ritchie Robertson.
Known as Susan, she had been a meter reader with mother, Hazel at Boston Edison (now Eversource). A former member of the Army Reserve, with a lot of pride as, Susan’s father was a retired Naval Officer of WWI and worked in Boston. Susan received a Bachelor’s degree from UMass Amherst College. Although there are no surviving family members, there were a few close friends and Susan would like to acknowledge Tish Willis of Holliston.
A graveside service will take place on Friday, November 19th at 10:30 a.m. at Lake Grove Cemetery in Holliston. Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston.

I delivered Meals On Wheels weekly for several years to Susan. She would be slowly coming down the walk when I arrived and she always said she could hear my car coming around the corner. She would come down the walk to get her meal and to chat, even if it was only for several minutes. I thought of you again this morning Susan, rest in peace
