Daniel Sellers at 59
It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel Sellers, 59, of Holliston, MA. Dan’s passing was unexpected, as it followed a brief illness. He was a bright light in this world and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Dan grew up in Potsdam, NY where he attended Potsdam High School. As a youngster, Dan played hockey, rode his bike hard all over town, and charmed everyone he met. He attended SUNY Canton and enjoyed the close friendship of his ZAP fraternity brothers. Dan loved the North Country. He spent many days fishing on the mighty Saint Lawrence River with his brother, David, and evenings with his family at their camp on Wilson Hill. One of his greatest fishing accomplishments was reeling in a monster Walleye Pike off Wolfe Island, Ontario. Dan loved music, especially Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and his all-time favorite, Tom Petty. He also loved machines- fast cars, motorcycles, speed boats and planes. He earned his private pilot’s license and was proud to take his 80-year-old mom on a scenic flight over Massachusetts.
Dan has lived in Holliston, MA with his family for the past 33 years. He was a master plumber and esteemed colleague and sales manager for Nicholson Plumbing and Heating. Loved ones that cleared the path for Dan are his father, Benjamin H. Sellers, and two brothers, Russell and Francis Sellers.
