Holliston Lions Spread Holiday Cheer

The Holliston Lions have wrapped up their efforts to bring some extra holiday cheer to Holliston for 2021.

Most recently, on Christmas Eve morning, more than two dozen people, Holliston Lions with family and friends, contributed food, time, and effort to prepare and deliver Christmas dinners to seniors and veterans here in town.

In all, working at the Holliston Senior Center, the Lions the Lions put together 57 Christmas dinners that were delivered to the homes of Holliston seniors and veterans.  The menu was a traditional one – roast beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, butternut squash, and pie, along with juice and a little candy.

December 6th the Senior Center was also the home for another Lions holiday event – A Photo with Santa.  Holliston kids were able to chat with Santa, get their picture taken with him, and enjoy some hot chocolate.

Little ones waited patiently to visit with Santa and his many elves.

The Lions are very grateful to the Holliston Senior Center for allowing the Lions to use the center for both events.  The Lions are also extremely grateful to the businesses who contributed to the meals – Holliston Superette, Restaurant 45, the Natick Wegmans, and Table Talk pies.
