Invasive Plant Identification Walk

Common Barberry

Join Upper Charles Conservation Land Trust for an informative walk at Wenakeening Woods in Holliston on Sunday, June 12, 1pm.  Whether you own a quarter acre residential property or a large woodlot, non-native invasive plants present challenging management considerations.

These plants can reduce biodiversity, degrade wildlife habitat and water quality, and inhibit forest regeneration.  Learn how to identify some common invasive plants, tips on controlling them, and native plant alternatives for your own gardens.

Meet at the Wenakeening Woods Summer St. parking area. Overflow parking at Fatima Shrine.
