Hi Everyone,

We hope you are enjoying the summer!  We are now making plans for the TENTH (and final) ANNUAL TIM’S TROT – which will be held on Saturday, September 17, at Holliston High School.  September seems far away, but it will be here before we know it.

Thanks to generous sponsorship – and the large numbers of runners and walkers – this year we will surpass $170,000 in money raised from Tim’s Trot for The Timothy O’Connell Foundation. We are very grateful for all the support we have had over the first nine years of Tim’s Trot.  We are so happy that we can say that every dollar raised by the Trot is donated to worthy cancer-related causes, donated to research, or given as scholarships to graduating high school students who are residents of Holliston who plan to pursue health related fields of study. 

We hope that the support for Tim’s Trot continues this year, OUR FINAL YEAR.  At our last Trot in 2019, before the pandemic began, we had over 900 runners and walkers!  In all, there are currently about 5,700 Tim’s Trot t-shirts making fashion statements – and promoting the local businesses displayed on the backs and sleeves of the shirts.  I love seeing the shirts each day – I hope you do too!  In addition, each Orange or Blue Sponsor is promoted on signs on the day of the Trot.  Each sponsor is “given” a sign along the route and to it we attach a picture of Timmy.  The signs are noticed by so many participants – and the photos keep Tim in everyone’s mind and heart throughout the Trot and beyond.  At the tent area, we also prominently display a banner that includes all Orange and Blue Sponsor logo artwork.  All sponsors are acknowledged on the website for the year following the Trot.
