Selection Committee Applicants and Nominations for Inaugural Class Are Sought

The HHS Athletic Hall of Fame is currently looking for four additional members to join Head Softball Coach Don Quindley and Assistant Wrestling Coach Alex Strum on the HHS HoF selection committee to organize the induction and vote on inductees over the coming months. Additionally, the HHS Hall of Fame is now accepting nominations for their first class. Forms for both can be found on their website, sites.google.com/view/hhsathletichof or picked up at the Holliston Superette, Fiske’s General Store, or The Corner Market.

Selection committee applications be submitted by September 15th and nominations for the HHS Hall of Fame be submitted by October 1st. Both can be done through the website and/or dropped off at Holliston High School ℅ Don Quindley.

Head Softball Coach Don Quindley and Assistant Wrestling Coach Alex Strum, presented the Hall of Fame plan to the Holliston School Committee and received approval at a recent meeting. Quindley and Strum have worked together with Head Girls Cross Country Coach Jaime Murphy to start the Hall of Fame. All three are current faculty members at Holliston High School.

Selection committee applicants must be former Holliston athletes, former or current coaches, former administrators or athletic personnel, or Holliston residents of at least twenty years. Current parents of Holliston students are ineligible. Selection committee members will serve for a term of three years. Nominees for induction can be athletes, coaches, contributors or teams. Athletes or teams should be ten years removed from high school graduation/season. Coaches and contributors should be five years removed from their last season but become eligible immediately upon their 60th birthday.

The Holliston High Athletic Hall of Fame has announced the induction of its inaugural class will take place on Saturday, March 25th, 2023, at the Double Tree Hotel in Milford.
