First Night Blaze

Holliston’s newest Citizens of the Year Dr. Ken Szajda and Mrs. Sheila Adams will be there to light the massive bonfire ablaze.

George Chapman will provide banjo music in the heated greenhouse. There will be hot cider, chili and hot dogs served by Boy Scout Troop 73, all free for as long as they last.

The pile isn’t quite big enough – yet.

Revelers can bring a lawn chair to place around the small fire pits ringside. The doors open at 6 pm on Saturday December 31st and the conflagration goes up at 7 pm.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 under 18 years of age, and under 5 are free. Tickets will benefit the Community Farm and can be purchased at the Superette or at the door.

The farm is located at 34 Rogers Road, just off Jeffrey Ave in the Lowland Street Industrial Park.
