New Year’s Eve on Fire

The Holliston Community Farm will once again sponsor a huge bonfire on New Year’s Eve. Doors for the 2nd annual event will open an hour earlier this year as the 1st Night Walk on the rail trail is not being held this year.

The bonfire is expected to be lit by Citizens of the Year Sheila Adams and Ken Szajda. George Chapman will be playing banjo music inside the heated greenhouse.

There will be free hot cider, tomato soup, and chicken noodle soup for all ticket holders and the Boy Scouts will have hot dogs for sale.

Festivities begin at 6 pm and the fire lit at 7 pm. Revelers are suggested to bring a lawn chair to place around of the many firepits at the site.

Tickets, which make great stocking stuffers or Christmas gifts are available at the Town Clerk’s office or the Superette. Adults $10, Students under eighteen $5, and children under five, free. Come on down and ring in 2023.

The Community Farm is located at 34 Rogers Road, just off Jeffrey Ave, in the Lowland Street Industrial Park.
