Joan C. Quigley, 88, of Holliston passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 2, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Cecelia V. (McGonigle) and John F. Mason.

Joan was born and raised in Jamaica Plain. She lived in Holliston for the past 65 years. She enjoyed getting to know many people from her job at Russell’s Market and later at Hollis Management. She was the first to lend an ear or a helping hand to those in need.

She was the loving mother of two daughters, Joanne Gilbert and her late husband Louie of Bellingham, and Janice Kjellman and her husband Robert of Marshfield. She is also survived by her granddaughter Melissa Pomfred and her husband James of Medway, great-granddaughter, Celia Monahan of Medway, and nieces Karen Ciaramicoli, Laura Chapman, and nephew Glenn Hansen. She was predeceased by her sister Lorraine Hansen and niece Linda Thompson.

Joan was blessed with faithful caregivers; Mary Beth, KK, Annie, Jessica, Riley, and Amanda. Joan will be greatly missed by her family and many friends for her humor and kindness.
