The Holliston Historical Society Harvest Fair takes place on September 17, 2023, (rain date is September 24th) from 10-4. Enjoy perusing the vendors’ offerings, the Silent Auction, the Treasure Shop, antiques, crafts, delicious food and refreshments, the KidsCorner, the tractor, games, and of course, the Alpacas. Our homemade Apples Pies and Apple Crisp, always a favorite, are available as well.

Holliston residents to participate in Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai
ob Christensen will participate as a Walk Hero for the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. Heroes are matched with Jimmy Fund Walk teams to give participants an opportunity to connect with patients. Bob was diagnosed with colon cancer and is matched with Milford DFCI.
“I am so grateful for the compassion and care I have received at Dana-Farber Milford,” Bob writes. “Keeping a positive attitude and following the guidance of my health care team has made a big difference to me.”

Local Artist Obie Miller Opening Reception
Please join the Friends of the Sherborn Library for the Sherborn Library’s Fall art show: En Plein Air, that will feature two local artists who both focus on nature and the world around us. Obie Miller is an en plein air painter who learns directly from nature by immersing himself completely into the environment. For this show, Miller has focused on nearby locations in Sherborn, Dover and Holliston. Aiden Garrity is a wildlife photographer, based in Framingham, who captures detailed photos of wild animals in their environments. Small refreshments will be provided by the artists.

The annual Celebrate Holliston festivities will continue this year on September 23rd, in a new downtown location (as Goodwill Park will not be available). The downtown, street-party style event will stretch down Railroad Street to Blair Square.

16 Holliston Locals Cycle in the 2023 Pan-Mass Challenge
On Aug. 5 and 6, more than 6,000 riders from around the globe, including 16 residents from Holliston, will pedal in the 44th Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC). These cyclists will come together with the common goal of raising a record-breaking $70 million for cancer research and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (Dana-Farber).

The Officers and members of the St Mary’s Holliston Knights of Columbus Council #14224 donated the proceeds from the 2023 Knights of Columbus “Swing for Charity” Golf Tournament held at Pinecrest Golf Club on June 9, 2023, to the Holliston Pantry Shelf.

Do you love to sing? Then we would love to meet you! We are Exsultet!— a fun-loving, women’s choral group made up of about fifteen musicians. We love making music and challenging ourselves to present concerts which enlighten and entertain. Exsultet! sings a repertoire of choral literature spanning musical periods and cultures and incorporates readings and poetry into our performances.
