300th Book Arrives

It was two and a half years ago that the newly published book “Celebrating Holliston’s 300th” – Stitching Together Memories, Images, and History began to take shape. Those initial meeting took place at Coffee Haven, Casey’s, the Grill and Dunkies before a consensus began to form that the book wouldn’t be limited to a single author, but rather many.

Newcomers as well as townies were requested to submit a story for the book. With over a hundred submissions, some stories fell to the cutting room floor due to the size of the book. At 466 pages and without advertisements the book is heavy.

While Joanne Hulbert, Mary Greendale and this writer Bobby Blair have their writing included in the book, what’s interesting is that newcomers tell their own stories from their own perspective. Those stories not making the book will be included in a website.

The book has already sold 170 pre-publishing books for a sale price of $30 after it reaches 200 books sold the price will be $45. Ten books for the sale price will be available at Fiske’s Store on Friday June 14th. Or email hollistonstories.com for more information on how to obtain a book. The book will also be available at all 300th Anniversary events…

If we’ve paid through PayPal, how do we get our book?
