“Holliston Together” is a town-wide movement sponsored by Holliston Cable Access Television (HCAT) in conjunction with the Holliston Community Action Fund (HCAF) to encourage people to make a concerted effort to support Holliston small businesses. 

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, businesses face tremendous challenges just to keep their shops and offices alive.  As models change and new safety restrictions are added almost daily, the businesses rely more now than ever before on loyal patrons to continue to make the effort to “shop locally” even if it may be more difficult due to the new challenges we are all facing.

It is widely believed that the majority of Holliston residents take great pride in being part of a quintessential small New England town.  How many times have you fondly described your town to others as a heartwarmingly simple, yet wonderful place to live?  As we know, the local businesses that make up our town play a fundamental role in the very fabric of Holliston. 

Although small in comparison to other towns, the Holliston business community is unique and vibrant. With many small businesses operating “virtually,” even more businesses are operating right here in town.  The “Holliston Together” movement puts these people and shops on display to show the community the work that businesses are doing to provide great product and service while keeping everyone safe. 

Our town has everything from great restaurants and gift shops to service providers and specialty shops.  Holliston Together encourages the people of Holliston to shop and do business with the local establishments to ensure their survival through these difficult times and beyond. 

We are far from being out of the woods. Businesses in particular could be affected by the economic upheaval for years to come.  Watch HCAT Channel 8 to see ongoing programs promoting these wonderful businesses that are such a vital part of our town.
