John Edward Taylor III passed away from heart failure in his Fort Myers, Florida home on January 2, 2021. 

John Taylor, known as Jet to family and close friends, was born on Oct 25, 1943 in Natick MA and graduated from Holliston High School in 1963.  

John served for 4 years in the US Navy on the George Washington Carver, a nuclear ballistic submarine.  After the Navy he continued his love of the sea by working as a Captain on various pleasure yachts.

John was predeceased by his parents Ed and Mary Taylor of Holliston and more recently, his younger brother Karl Taylor of Southboro. 

He is survived by his son Jesse Taylor of Florida, his brothers Andrew Taylor of Encinitas CA and Roger Taylor of San Pedro CA as well as a niece and two nephews.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. 

There will be a Memorial Service and private burial at a later date.
