The Safe Routes to School task force is coordinating a Walk and Bike to School Day on Wednesday, May 26, for the Holliston Public Schools. We have a commitment from both the Holliston and State Police for support and cheering on. Superintendent Dr. Susan Kustka will join at Blair Square park and walk route for one of the 3 Woodland Street school times in the morning.

There are 3 official routes, each noted on the maps below (RED, BLUE, GREEN). Both the red and blue routes combine at the corner of Elm and Woodland. 

Departure is 40 minutes before last arrival bell for each school for the red and blue routes (CVS, St. Mary’s) and 45 minutes before last arrival bell for the green route (Baptist Church).

• Placentino = 8:10 and 8:05 am
• Miller = 6:50 and 6:45 am
• Adams =  7:30 and 7:25 am

The focus of the day is the walk to school. There are no plans for specific instructions on the return home – just as with the Walking School Bus.
