Friday, April 29

  • 7:56 AM: Brush Fire – The fire department responded to a brush fire off Mill Street. Sherborn Fire and the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation Bureau of Forest Control assisted in controlling and extinguishing a 28-acre fire.
  • 12:24 PM: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Summer Street. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center.
  • 4:17 PM: Investigation – Deputy Mark Dellicker investigated hot spots from the earlier brush fire off Mill Street.
  • 5:13 PM: Mutual Aid – Engine 4 was dispatched to provide station coverage for Hopedale Fire, while crews were assisting Northbridge with a 2-alarm fire. The request for station coverage was cancelled prior to arrival.
  • 5:15 PM: Mutual Aid – The backup ambulance provided station coverage for Sherborn Fire, while personnel were at a retirement party.
