Civics Sunday: Town Election Candidate Update
As of Friday, March 31, 2023, the following candidates have taken out nomination papers. Several have already returned their signed nomination papers. Completed nomination papers are due into the Town Clerk’s office no later than April 4, 2023.

“To qualify as a candidate, you must be at least 18 years old, a registered Holliston voter, and collect 50 signatures from Holliston registered voters by April 4, 2023. The Town Election is May 23, 2023.
If you would like to discuss the possibilities, or have your Nomination Papers prepared, please call the Town Clerk’s Office at 508-429-0601 or stop by during business hours M, W, TH 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, T 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, F 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
Town Elections are non-partisan.”

My papers are complete and will be turned in by the deadline!
Julie Winston is also technically an incumbent…. I think. She has been serving on the finance committee for the last year as an appointed member.
Julie Winston is not an incumbent because she was appointed to the Finance Committee in June 2022, this will be her first election.
I would also like to mention that Cameron Rockett took out papers for the 1 year Finance Committee position, not the 3 year, his name was erroneously listed in the 3 year position.
