Olimpio Pinto Pocas at 74

Olimpio Pinto Pocas, 74, of Holliston, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, April 14, 2023. Born and raised in Vilarinho Seco, Portugal, he was the son of the late Rosa Correia (Medeiros) and Augusto Pocas. His grandmother, the late Ana Pinto, was very dear to him and helped raise him as a child.

Olimpio enjoyed playing the accordion, spending time with his family and grandchildren, and watching his beloved Patriots play football. He was a talented machinist and enjoyed working on many projects.

Olimpio is survived by his ex-wife Gloria Pocas the mother of his three children, Benjamin Pocas, Jamie Pocas, and Jennifer Pocas. He also leaves behind his longtime partner Mary Shea, his brother Augusto Medeiros, his half-brother David Correia, his two grandchildren Jackson and Kate Pocas, and many family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 21st from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 22nd at 10:30 a.m. at Lake Grove Cemetary of Holliston. In lieu of flowers, donations in Olimpio’s name may be made to the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism.
