Looking for a few volunteers with a truck or a shovel. The American Legion, Downtown Marigold Project will be planting 400 plus chrysanthemums about town on Saturday, September 16th beginning at 9 am. We need folks with a truck to transport the mum’s from Highland Street to downtown. We need folks with a shovel to dig a hole and plant the mum’s. Locations include the Historical Society, Central Burial Ground, Congregational Church, Hollis St., Casavant Realty, Blair Square, Planters at CVS, Casey’s Pub, Gooch’s Corner.
