The Holliston Historical Society’s walk through the Central Burying Ground on Sunday,
afternoon, October 29, will begin at 3:30 pm. Gather at the front steps of Town Hall and
we will proceed to visit with many notable characters. This will surely be an interesting
walkthrough Holliston history. Hear the stories about people who once walked our
streets, and helped make Holliston the town we know today. About a dozen persons will
be visited, and you will hear their stories – of tragedy, romance, and sometimes a bit of
humor. All will leave you with a new sense of what our town was like centuries ago. We
will also hear about the project to restore and repair many of the memorial stones. The
Central Burying Ground is a unique place to experience an important part of Holliston
and history.
