Local Resident Shares Inspiring Story of Innovation and Support

I’m a senior at Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, NH. My journey began when I joined Respeecher, a Ukrainian AI technology company, as a research intern. My decision to join Respeecher was driven by a strong personal commitment to support Ukraine, a war-torn country, by contributing my skills and efforts.

During my time at Respeecher, I was introduced to groundbreaking voice technology that has made a global impact. This technology allowed the late Vince Lombardi to deliver a memorable message of unity at Super Bowl LV with AI-generated perfection, as documented in this article. This remarkable achievement inspired me to envision a new purpose for this technology: voice generation for patients with laryngeal cancer and voice disorders.

I reached out to many doctors, including Dr. Franco, the Medical Director at MEEI and a Harvard Professor, and together, we established a non-profit partnership between MEEI and Respeecher. This partnership is poised to offer Respeecher’s state-of-the-art voice technology to tens of thousands of laryngeal patients, providing them with hope and personalized voice solutions. Secondly, we aim to raise funds to make this technology accessible and affordable to patients worldwide.

Attached to this email, you will find letters of recognition I have received from Dr. Franco and Respeecher, further validating the significance of this transformative partnership. This narrative serves as a prime example of resilience, innovation, and international collaboration, highlighting the positive impact of technology.

By sharing this story, we aim to raise awareness about the silent struggles of laryngeal patients and inspire support for affordable, cutting-edge medical technology. Additionally, we hope to encourage more initiatives to aid Ukraine’s recovery.

I would greatly appreciate the chance to share this story and am available for interviews or further discussions. Together, let’s shine a spotlight on the transformative potential of the non-profit partnership for laryngeal patients.
