Holliston Police Log Gems3

Holliston Reporter

I posted the log on HollistonReporter.com beginning in 2008. What follows are a few of the entries from the log along with my comments in italics.

June 26, 2013: Juvenile incident, South & Fisher; youth handcuffed himself to stop sign. Removed and advised (what do you say to someone who handcuffs himself to a stop sign?).June 9: Animal incident, Fiske; report of dead skunk in the middle of the road (“and he’s stinkin’ to high Heaven”). Hwy will remove it on Monday.

Sept 8, 2013. Isn’t it ironic that the one who comments most about crosswalk violations would be guilty for a $200.00 violation?

May 14, 2014:

At HPD’s Citizens Police Academy any class member who wanted to cuff a fellow classmate got the opportunity to do so.

Dec 24, 2013: Littering/dumping, Erin Way; tv and other stuff dumped on the side of the road (Holliston CSI graduates volunteered to take plaster tire tracks and color glossy photographs).

June 16 – 23, 2014. Fifty of us got to speak to an officer last week through the driver’s window.

June 9, 2014. How many times have I told you kids not to waddle over a storm drain?
Assist citizen, 84 October Hill; call for help rescuing ducklings from storm drains.

Reminder: Leave your car unlocked overnight if you want your loose change and anything else of value removed for you.

October 30, 2014: Placentino School; 12 citations before Noon!

October 31, 2014: Placentino School. No citations today (we are fast learners).

November 21,2014: Two crashes and a road rage incident at Hollis and Washington (normal for this intersection).

Jan 26 – 31, 2015. Several people tested Pauli’s Exclusion Principle.

Animal incident, 636 Prentice, car versus deer. Hwy fired up the barbie.
