Police Log Gems 6

I posted the log on HollistonReporter.com beginning in 2008. We can debate whether it was of any value to anyone, but it helped me stay on the straight and narrow at least while I was sitting in the police station reviewing the log. What follows are a few of the entries from the log along with my comments in italics.

July 21, 2009: 7:10 PM, suspicious activity, Chamberlain Street; party entered the business there about 2:30 PM and spoke of politics and general nonsense (this is business as usual at the Holliston Grille in the morning).

Sept 18, 2009: Complaint, Central Street; ongoing problem with youths loitering in the area and using offensive language (time for a soap rinse?).

August 23, 2009: Juvenile incident, Central Street; skateboard confiscated. Rider not wearing a helmet     (police will use the skateboard in undercover operations)

Dec 27, 2009: Complaint, Sherborn resident called to report two missing Pekingese dogs that may be heading towards Holliston (a haven for Pekingese refugees).

Nov 22, 2009: Walk-in, HPD; party reports unwanted guest refuses to leave (My brother-in-law? I thought he was your brother-in-law).

They should have named her Ferrari.  Kia motors UK gave a British couple a new car after they named their new baby Kia in honor of her birthplace: the backseat of a Kia.

March 19, 2010…and the greatest of these is love – but not my property. Complaint, Central Street; report of parties kissing in the parking lot. Officer assistance requested to remove persons.

Suspicious vehicle, Pleasure Point; parties sent on their way. (Persistent aren’t they).

June 3, 2010: Apparently, Holliston is not ready to be the Rio de Janeiro of the Northeast.
Disturbance, Stoddard Park; nude man. Arrested for open and gross lewdness (it was hot that day).

Final exam at police dog training school:
