Thomas Koller

Thomas Traylor Koller, 86, of Holliston, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Charlotte (Traylor) Clapper and George F Koller. He was the husband of 55 years to the late Eleanore (Heubach) Koller.

Thomas worked as a broadcaster for 30 + years at local radio stations WMRC (Milford) and WNRI (Woonsocket), and was known for his coverage of the Milford Legion Baseball Team in the 1970s. He also worked as a professor of English and Communications at Nichols College for a number of years. He sang in every church choir in Holliston, and most recently with the First Congregational Church. He also was an active member of the local singing organization the Treblemakers.

He loved to participate in community theater and was a longtime member of the Holliston Curtaintimers. He also performed regularly at the weekly music events at the Holliston Senior Center.

Thomas is survived by his children, Donald Koller and his wife, Lori of Hopedale and Deborah Jerome and her husband, David of St. James, New York. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Kyle & Katelyn Koller and Brooklyn & Jayda Feeney. He is predeceased by his brother, John Dryden Koller.

Calling hours will be held for Thomas on Friday, February 9th from 10-11 a.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St., followed by a short memorial service at 11:00 a.m.

    Tom and Eleanore were lovely people. I enjoyed working for them on many projects and they were also good friends.
