Make it One Trip.  We only have One Planet.

Holliston depends mostly on personal cars for transportation and shopping.  It is one of the largest areas of energy use in our town. Small changes in our habits can reap large rewards for the environment. 

Combining errands into one trip saves not only energy, but time and money too. Taking several short trips from a cold start each time can use twice as much fuel as one multipurpose trip covering the same distance with a warm engine. 

Personal transportation accounts for a large part of an individual’s yearly carbon footprint.
