Beverly Ann Cray, 87, of Holliston, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, August 9, 2021. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Marion (Goss) and William McGinnis. Bev was the beloved wife of her true love of 34 years, the late Robert F. Cray. She was the most loving, supportive mother to Karen “Cass” Clarke and her husband, Bob of Taunton, Robert Cray Jr. and his wife, Kim of Smithfield RI, and Kathleen Skerry and her husband, Bobby of Holliston. Proud “Nanny” of Jessica and MacKenzie Clarke, Alison, Melanie and Patrick Cray, Mandy (Skerry) Gates, Alycia, Stef and Olivia Skerry. Great-grandmother to Savannah, Chloe and Tommy Gates and Gabriel Brents who Nanny was so excited to have finally met this past weekend!

Bev was a smiling face at the Holliston Superette deli counter for over 20 years where she loved her work family, who were all so good to her. She was a great crafter who could whip up scrubbies, costumes and pinatas in no time. She loved trips to Disney and spending time with family. Visits from her grandkids were so special to her and she enjoyed every minute. Beverly is predeceased by five siblings; brother, William, and sisters, Fran, Elaine, Betty, and Dottie.

There will be no calling hours. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston at 11:00 a.m. on Monday August 16, 2021. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, (corner of Fiske & Central) Holliston. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Beverly’s name to St. Jude’s Research Hospital – stjude.org.
