Holliston Lions to Light up Blair Square
After spending this coming “Small Business Saturday” shopping in Holliston’s shops, why not find your way down to Blair Square around 4:00pm to catch this year’s tree lighting! Toys for Tots donations will be accepted.

At 9:11 am on Monday, November 22, 2021 Holliston Fire and Police were called to the scene of a working house fire at 1004 Washington Street. When crews arrived, the house was fully involved. All residents and pets escaped safely. One resident was transported from the scene by Holliston ambulance.

School Committee: November 18, 2021 Meeting
Chair Cynthia Listewnik opened the Thursday evening (11.18.21) meeting of the School Committee (SC) to face masked participants in the Holliston High library and to remote viewers watching the HCAT livestream. All members of the School Committee were present.

The Metrowest Interfaith Dialogue Project (hollistoninterfaith.org) is a coalition of inter-religious communities based in Holliston but extends beyond to promote the religious and cultural diversity of our communities. Recently, there were incidents of bias in the public schools of Holliston, including racial, homophobic, antisemitic graffiti. School and town officials, along with the local clergy are organizing ways to engage the community about these issues.

CHABAD CENTER will ignite a public 8’ Hanukkah menorah erected at Holliston Town Hall, followed by a community-wide celebration on Monday, November 29, at 6pm, the 2nd night of the eight-day holiday. The ceremony, organized by Chabad Rabbi Mendy Kivman, will feature community leaders lighting the Menorah. Following the menorah lighting ceremony, we will dance, sing and eat the traditional latkes and donuts!
