Lions Light Up Holliston

The Holliston Lions helped to brighten the holiday season in several ways this past Saturday (Nov. 27).  Working with the Holliston Police Department and the US Marine Corps, the Lions collected gifts for the Toys for Tots program.

For Light Up Holliston 2021-22 the Lions strung what looks like miles of lights to decorate Holliston.  The Lions are very grateful for major support from lead sponsors Middlesex Savings Bank and Affordable Mold and Duct Cleaning, and for generous support from the Holliston Superette, the American Legion, the Marigold Fund, Wayne Griffin Electric, Thomas Chipman Electric, and JJ Galvin Electric.

The Lions also provided Christmas trees to be decorated around town and offered trees for local groups to decorate.  This year Celebrate Holliston, the Holliston Historical Society, the Leos Club, the Holliston Girl Scouts, and the Holliston Newcomers and Neighbors Society all put their special touch on a tree.

And the Lions have more in store for this season.  This coming Sunday, December 5th, there will be Photos with Santa.  This happens at the Holliston Senior Center from 9 AM to Noon.  Hot chocolate will be served.  The cost is $5.00 for the first photo and $4.00 each for additional photos.

On December 24th, the Lions will be delivering Christmas dinner to seniors, veterans and other shut-ins here in town.  People can sign up for the meals through the Holliston Senior Center.
