Holliston High School Softball Update:

The Holliston High Softball team continues to their breakout season by going 4-1 since the last update. Beginning last week the Panthers won 4 straight defeating Holbrook, Medway, Dover-Sherborn and Framingham.  During this stretch the Panthers scored a collective total of 55 runs while only allowing 13.

The streak included outstanding pitching performances by juniors Lucy Mauro and Emma Wood along with some timely hitting by two more juniors Lucy Svirski and Josie Quinn.

Holliston’s high-powered lineup once again provided ample scoring once again led by their captains Lauren Kampersal, Jordyn Kuharich, Phoebe Drohan and Sydney Micelle.

Some additional outstanding play both at the plate and in the field was seen by juniors Amelia Harris and Adelaide Bearer and sophomores Emily Guarino and Vanessa DiSimone.  

Holliston unfortunately dropped their last game to a strong second-place Norton squad, in Norton by a score of 13-1.  

Holliston’s record is 9-4 on the season and 8-3 in league play.  They are currently in 3rd place in the Tri-valley league behind Norton and Dedham.  

Holliston’s Senior Night Game is Tuesday 5/17 (TONIGHT)@ 6pm at the Robert Adams Middle School (Damigella Field) against Ashland.
