St. Mary’s of Holliston KofC Council 14224 and Girl Scout Troop 64082 have teamed up again with Green Team Junk Removal for another big recycling event on November 22th. It was a huge success for everyone – the two groups AND the public who brought truckloads of items last year. So, scour your house – the basement, closets, attic, and garage and bring your get-rid-of items to this year’s event. They’re accepting a wide assortment of items at great prices, so you can really clean out all those items taking up space and gathering dust while cluttering up your home.

Their Saturday event will run from 9AM to 1PM in St. Mary’s church parking lot. As usual, they’ll take computers, TV’s, printers, and other electronic equipment. But they’ll also be accepting mattresses, box springs, snow blowers, stoves, tires, push lawn mowers, empty propane tanks, stoves, fire extinguishers, water heaters, washers and dryers, microwaves – and much, much more. Council Grand Knight Tom Brodo describes this season’s effort as a “clean out your house” event. Watch your mail for a nice large flyer from Green Team Recycling early this month announcing the event which lists all the items they’ll accept and the prices. Tom said you will find the prices very reasonable and encourages everyone to start gathering together all those items which you’ve been saying you want to get rid of. And he points out that it’s good for the environment to get rid of this waste.

The Green Team is an eco-friendly Junk Removal company which works to provide the most environmentally conscious junk removal services in Massachusetts. They have worked with the KofC and Girl Scouts before and everyone wins when you take advantage of this year’s recycling campaign.
