February 11, 2018:

08:43AM, Animal incident, Turner; report of small white dog with tan spots and green collar running free.

09:25AM, Animal incident, Mohawk Path; report of small white dog with tan spots and green collar lost.

Road hazard, 625 Concord; four reports of tire damage due to large pothole. State DPW called (right).

Road hazard, 255 Highland; large pothole reported. DPW notified. Cones placed to mark the location (hubcaps do the same thing).

February 11:

Crash, 45 Franklin; Republic trash truck tangled up in tree branches.

Fraud, Forest Park; illegal use of ATM card.

Crash, Washington & Paul; Milford and Brockton cars hug.

Crash, 830 Washington; Fred from Medway reports hitting Fred from Lancaster’s car in the parking lot last week.

Animal incident, Jeffrey; small black terrier on the loose.

February 13:

Crash, Fiske & Bullard; Millis car slid on ice. No P.I.

Suspicious activity, Concord; report of someone or something in the house. Caller and son waiting outside. HPD let out squirrel (must have been a really big one).

February 14:

Road hazard, 320 Washington; dead skunk in the road (“…and me without my spoon”). Hwy called (Too busy with potholes. Call Mass DPW).

Disabled vehicle, Green; another Republic trash truck. This one tangled up in utility wires.

Follow up investigation, Central & Maple Dell; caller was out for a run and came upon items stolen from his car (what are the chances?)

February 15:

Erratic drivers, HHS; report of vehicles driving on the fields.

Suspicious activity, Union; report of screaming on the rail trail. All quiet when HPD arrived.

February 16:

Smoke & Fire, Morton; oven fire (throw some salt on it).

February 17:

Crash, Central & Railroad; out of control Medway car hit a controlled Holliston car.

Animal incident, 2114 Washington; report of yellow lab running in traffic. GOA

During the reporting period, 24 citations and 7 warnings were issued. Three erratic drivers were reported.

I actually did throw salt on the oven fire but it wasn’t enough. The fire was enough to allow me to go out the next morning and get a new oven, though. All joking aside, many thanks to the HFD. They are awesome!
