Marie F. Case, 96, of Holliston, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2026. Born in Mansfield, she was the daughter of the late Madeline (Melfie) and Lewis Garland. She was the wife of the late James T. Case, who passed away in 2004.
Marie worked for Griffin Electric in Holliston for over 20 years. She was a longtime and faithful member of Saint Mary’s Church in Holliston, where she attended Mass regularly for 50 years. She also enjoyed knitting, cooking, and baking, especially for her family.
Marie is survived by her children, James G. Case and his wife, Susan Ethier, of South Yarmouth, Jeffrey M. Case of Rutland, and Jonathan D. Case of Bluffton, South Carolina. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, Kenneth Case (Crystal), Joanna Welch (Steffan), Zachary Case (Christina), Nicholas Case, and Jessica Case; and 6 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her infant daughter, Joanna Case and her daughter-in-law, Rebecca Case.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 14th at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Church of Holliston. Burial will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Holliston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jimmy Fund, https://www.jimmyfund.org/
