Chief Cassidy reports this week’s HFD’s emergency calls.

Most days, the ambulance crews handled medical emergencies. On Monday, Jan 18th, the firefighters battled a house fire that took the life of a resident and the lives of the household pets.

Several alarm activations were investigated by HFD this week. The ambulance crews handled several medical emergencies.

Updated at 9:30 am. At approximately 11:35 pm last night, Holliston Fire responded to a house fire on Winter Street. Details are not available this morning. Chief Michael Cassidy has referred the Holliston Reporter to the State Fire Marshal’s office who is handling the investigation. This post will be updated as official word is received.

2021 started with several medical emergencies being handled by Holliston’s Bravest.

A busy week for HFD. Many medical emergencies, several investigations of alarms and odors, and a chimney fire – thankfully after Santa had left town.

This week’s HFD emergency calls included a major head-on motor vehicle accident that sent three victims to three different hospitals. Included this week is a brief video clip of Chief Cassidy wearing a different hat – storybook reader – enjoy.

A busy week for the HFD ambulance crews. To spice it up, there was an elevator rescue and a burning snow thrower.

The ambulance crews made some early morning runs while other HFD members handled investigations.
