Civics Sunday: Two Community Forums Planned
The Select Board has received numerous presentations from consultants in May and June of 2022 that presented recommendations for the Town to consider. These presentations require follow-up “Community Forum” discussions, allowing for feedback from residents and stakeholders to influence these important processes and projects.
Holliston Rail Trail Receives Mass Trails Grant
The Town of Holliston was awarded funding under the 2022 MassTrails Grant program in the amount of $29,741. This MassTrails grant will provide funding to complete drainage improvements to the Upper Charles Trail near Phipps Tunnel. These funds will allow the Town to install drainage pipes to improve drainage and maintenance issues.
An Eagle Scout Project at Stoddard Park
Holliston Eagle Scout Candidate Louis Connoni completed his project at Stoddard Park in June. Louis built and installed two beautiful cedar changing stalls.

Library Trustees Meet Before Summer Break
Holliston’s Library Trustees met Wednesday, June 29, 2022, for the final meeting prior to its summer break. Karla Alfred, Chair, called the remote meeting to order at 7:00 PM.

FinCom Fills Vacancy and Okays End of FY Transfers
Ken Szajda (below), Chair, opened the combined remote meeting of the Finance Committee (FC) and the Select Board (SB) on Tuesday, June 28, at 7 PM, with all members of both groups and Travis Ahern, Town Administrator, present. The two groups were combined for the purpose of conducting interviews and selecting a candidate to fill the current vacancy seat on the FC.
