Sixth Month Update
Holliston’s Dull Men’s Club at The Center had their first meeting January 3rd 2025, the first Friday of the month. Their second meeting was on the third Friday in January. Because of the success of the first 2 meetings, we went from bimonthly to weekly.
The DMC is a general discussion group, with guide lines, for men over 55 yrs old. They have had guest speakers at meetings including,

On a personal note, when Laura Parmensi, the assistant director of The Center asked me to help start and lead a men’s discussion group I had no idea what that would look like. Six months in I can honestly say I am enjoying this DMC. I have been known to say that it isn’t really a club, we are actually doing a study on what the elder male will do for a donut. Yes, coffee and donuts are served.
