HOLLISTON POLICE DEPARTMENT 02/26

PERSONNEL HIGHLIGHTS:

During the month of February, all department members reviewed Policy 7.07 “Baby Safe Haven.”

During the month of February, all department members reviewed Policy 4.17 “Harassment.”

During the month of February and beginning of March, all Holliston Police Officers conducted a two-hour “Executing the Mission: Trauma Informed Policing”

On February 2, 2026, Student Officer Costa Tsolirides began Week #10 of police academy training at the MPTC Falmouth Police Academy.

On February 2, 2026, Officer Hulme completed a one-day make up class as part of his “2025-2026 In-Service training seminar” at the MPTC-Marlborough.

On February 2 – 5, 2026, Officer Charette attended a 4-day “2025-2026 In-Service training seminar” at the MPTC-Milford Police Academy.

On February 9, 2026, Student Officer Costa Tsolirides began Week #11 of police academy training at the MPTC Falmouth Police Academy.

On February 10, 2026, Detective Ciavarra attended a one-day “Domestic Violence Legal Update” training course at the Grafton Police Department.

On February 11, 2026, Officer-in-Training Cotting and Officer-in-Training Beltrane completed training with Lieutenant Hagan in the area of “IMC & Comprehensive Emergency Management Planning (CEMP).”

On February 16, 2026, Student Officer Costa Tsolirides began Week #12 of police academy training at the MPTC Falmouth Police Academy.

On February 18, 2026, Sergeant Remkus completed a four-hour “Instructor Recertification – CPR/First Aid” course at the Northern Essex Police Academy (NECC).

On February 20, 2026, Lieutenant Hagan attended a one-day “Accreditation Manager” training course at the MPTC-Plymouth Police Academy.

On February 23, 2026, Student Officer Costa Tsolirides began Week #13 of police academy training at the MPTC Falmouth Police Academy.

On February 26, 2026, Officer Colton Bader completed his first (1st ) year of service with the Holliston Police Department. During the month of February, Officer Coakley completed his mandatory 20 hours of monthly training with the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council (Metro-LEC) Special Tactics and Response (STAR) team.

COMMUNITY RELATIONS:

On February 3, 2026, Detective Ciavarra attended the monthly “Coffee with a Cop” event at the
Holliston Center.

On February 11, 2026, Lieutenant Hagan was a “guest server” at the Holliston Pantry’s annual “Soup-er Bowl” event at St. Mary’s Hall.
