Thanks to the efforts of Taylor Dodge, HPL’s Head of Circulation and Adult Services, and grants and donations, adults and children can now borrow items that are needed once in a while. Instead of going to a hardware store to buy a stud finder to help hang a precious painting, you can borrow it for FREE!
Borrowing Things works the same as borrowing all the other resources our library provides. Use your Library Card to take out the necessary tool, bakeware, etc. at the checkout desk. The borrowing period is three weeks.
You can go online Holliston’s Library of Things (seen below) to view the item(s) that are currently in stock.
Clicking on the appropriate Thing category icon will show the items available. If the item is currently checked out, you may place a hold and receive a notice when it becomes available.
